A story sculpted by time itself.
This collection is made from reclaimed wood over 100 years old, sourced from a small Transylvanian village, which lay hidden underground for decades, naturally preserved until its rediscovery. Each piece carries a history that began long before us, shaped by time, pressure, and stillness.

A remarkable detail of this place dates back to World War II (1939–1945). During those years, the area was occupied by Soviet soldiers, a fact supported by an unexpected discovery made during the demolition of a barn — a firearm was found hidden in its structure. The story was passed down by a grandmother from the village, who preserved these memories and carried them through generations.

We discovered this material forgotten in the dark and brought it back to light. Through careful restoration and design, we transformed it into something new, while preserving its authentic character, texture, and natural beauty.

Today, the wood begins a second life — refined, illuminated, and reimagined. Each piece in the RIFT collection is not just a product, but the continuation of a story that began a century ago.
